Built on top of Traditional-Antivirus, YAV supports file signature scanning and Yara scanning.

What Does It Do?

• Scans using Yara & File signatures.
• SQLite for database storage.
• Automatically updates from ClamAV’s DB, Malware Bazaar, VirusShare, Yaraify & Yara.

Requirements

• Java 8 or greater

How To Use

• Clone repo & open folder in Intellij.
• Run YaraAntiVirus with the argument of the file or folder you want to scan.

Requires

• Java 1.8
• Windows 10 (Earlier versions probably work)

Notes

• This is simply a CLI wrapper on Yara
• File Signature Scanning comes from Traditional-Antivirus
